Gran Caus Rosé 2007 is awarded "Gold" in the National Wine Press Prize of 2009
Gran Caus Rosé 2007 has once more been the focus of praise and awards. This time it was the AEPEV (Spanish Association of Wine Journalists and Critics) who awarded the National Wine Press Prize of 2009 with the distinction of “Gold Medal” in the category of “rosé wines”. The prize was determined by popular and secret vote on the part of the members of AEPEV, and was handed over in Ourense on 12th March 2010. The prize was collected by acclaimed wine critic José Peñín upon the request of owner and wine maker Carlos Esteva.

Gran Caus Rosé is made from the top quality must of our best Merlot grapes, and is then fermented during an extended period at low temperature to obtain a refreshing and full-bodied rosé. It is fruity, potent, has great colour and its complexity marries extremely well with all types of food, but especially with creamy rice dishes (risotto, paella) and dishes accompanied with creamy sauces (cannelloni, lasagne). This is a rosé for rosé sceptics!
